  Hello, my name is Libby White and I am a Usui and Karuna® Reiki Master/Practioner. To look at me or to hear my history, one would never associate me with the healing art of Reiki. I am a practical, dependable, tough minded, analytical sort who needs to know the rational benefits of everything I do. I have an MBA degree as well as decades of business experience. I have completed numerous marathons, half marathons and other distance races during my running and now my race walking careers. So how did I come to Reiki? The simple answer is the list of injuries, ills, heartaches and stresses that made me from time to time unhappy, tired, and in pain.
After completing a half marathon and feeling sore, a dear friend asked if I wanted some Reiki. I said, “sure.” After a little treatment, I felt better. I could not explain it so I began to investigate Reiki.
While taking Yoga classes for the practical reasons of stretching and cross training, I had the opportunity to participate in a Reiki workshop conducted by Rowan Silverberg.
Rowan opened my eyes and my heart to Reiki and I have been a believer and practitioner under her gentle and effective teaching. My path guided me to study Karuna® Reiki with William Rand at the International Center for Reiki Training.
